The Research group “Demographic Dynamics” aims to analyze, understand and inform about the processes that shape changes on the main demographic variables, both in Mexico and in other contexts. We are interested in how new methods and data sources can help us understand the heterogeneity in fertility, mortality, migration, family and nuptiality, as well as population growth, distribution and structure. We also look to foster collective research, training and mentoring future scholars, and strengthen exchanges with national and international research networks.
